Weather in Jamaica
I think the weather in Jamaica is always beautiful. Even when it rains, it never seems to last long. The rain usually comes in the late afternoon, and in my opinion this is a great time to take a short nap or relax for awhile.
The best time of year (the mildest temperature and least amount of rain) is from December through February. I actually travel to Jamaica a lot in May and October mainly because it's the two slowest travel months of the year, and I would rather go when there are less people. May is usually the rainiest month but this year (2008) hardly had any rain, so it can be unpredictable. Hurricane season is from August to November. The last hurricane to hit Jamaica was Dean in 2007 and prior to that it was Ivan in 2004.
